Lemon Park
current on: Thursday, September 18, 2003
Lemon Park has approximately 117 acres, the largest of the parks in Pratt. Lemon Park features include: a nature trail, wood sculptures, ball diamonds, sand volleyball courts, fishing lake, play ground equipment, picnic areas with shelter houses, gazebo and a lighted walking path.

Lemon Park is named after George Lemon, who took a personal interest in landscaping, introducing a variety of non-native trees to the area. About 80 varieties of trees survive today. These trees are the city`s natural treasures and the park is used extensively for walking, roller-blading, ball games, picnicking and enjoying the outdoors. Several wood sculptures by artist Clayton Coss are located throughout the park.
